Alex Agnew was born in Antwerp in 1973 as a son
from a British father and a mother from Limburg.
Exactly thirty years later he was the first from
Antwerp to win the Leiden Cabaret Festival and he won
both the jury and the public prize.

In 2011 Alex Agnew was on stage for 10 years.
To celebrate this, he created a one-time best of show
at the Antwerp Sportpaleis. This turned into five shows.

In 2018 Alex started the podcast 'Welcome to the AA'
with his partner in crime  Andries Beckers, they search for
people or subjects that are part of their world every week
from the attic  of Andries' house in the city of Antwerp.
