Karen Damen was studying Modern Languages at
the Humanities and worked in the horeca in
Antwerp. In the late nineties, she was asked to join
the girl group that became extremely popular under
the name K3 from 1999, especially among children.

Karen Damen was part of K3 for seventeen years.
Everything was done for her and with the wildly popular
girl trio she achieved everything she could achieve.
But at 42 she wants even more.
She is finally going for her big dream:
to make a (solo) record.
Karen gave herself exactly one year to realize that dream.

And after realising this solo record she wanted to
perform it in 'Het sportpaleis' in Antwerp.
