Rouffaer was best known for his role as Kapitein Zeppos,
aka Jan Stephorst, in the tv series with the same name.
This series was very popular in 1964 and even had a sequel
four years later.

Senne's urge to act was always great. He took lessons at
the Conservatory in Antwerp and began to dabble in
the amateur circuit.

His nephew Johan Rouffaer was party leader of green for
the city of Antwerp. Johan grew up in the
same neigbourhood  'Sint-Andrieskwartier' where
Vincent Van Duysen now has his architecture firm
